David Noonan from Melbourne undertook a year's residency at PS1 New York in 2002. He recently exhibited in the Istanbul Biennial and in various other shows both in Australia and internationally. The theme of the Owl in Noonan's work relates to it's associated mythology and it's symbolic use in horror movies and literature as a foreboder of evil or the supernatural
