Rachel Lowther is from the North of England and studied art in London, at the Staedelschule in Frankfurt, and then in New York where she now mostly lives. Her last show was with Genises P.Orridge in Germany and she works in a variety of media, but the life-size fibreglass animals are a recurring theme.
